You can’t win them all. But you can control the controllables.

The team from All Saints Grammar Secondary School had organised a fun-filled City Scavenger Hunt with City Adventures. Despite the heavy rain and schools being shut down due to the rising floodwaters, we still managed to make the most out of a ‘cloudy day’.

We ditched the glitter strip in Surfers Paradise for the up-tempo facilities at the newly renovated Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach, Gold Coast. Teams of 8 scoured the centre for hidden treasures earning points for every successful challenge completed. It took a little over an hour to find the City Adventures winning team, which completed a massive 39 out of the 43 challenges at hand.

This wasn’t your traditional scavenger hunt. Teams also embraced the ’10 commandment’ photo challenge, team challenges and hurdles along the way. As any winning team will find, it takes unity, collaboration, understanding and desire to finish first that will set you apart from your competitors. Mr P. att’s team showed those strong’s qualities and represented the All Saints Grammar secondary school to victory.

Scavenger Hunts are a lot of fun. They can be played in the city, shopping centre, sporting fields or in the community. There is a component of brisk walking and tactics that are used to beat the other teams. Not only is it a good team building activity, it breaks down communication barriers and helps groups build relationships.

If your company is looking for a team building activity like a scavenger hunt, give City Adventures a call. We can help small and large groups achieve unity and build relationships through our wide range of programs. One we highly recommend is our newly rated ‘Mario Kart’ program. Teams will love reliving their childhood memories and playing Mario Kart in real life.
